Library Updates: 2023

Transformative Agreement with Major Publishers to Promote Open Access Resources

Ikeda Library is an institution member of the SCELC consortium. We also subscribe to journal packages offered by publishers American Chemical Society (ACS), Cambridge University Press, Elsevier, Springer, and Wiley. Under the transformative agreement that SCELC negotiated, SUA students, faculty, and staff members have the option to publish in their hybrid/OA journals without paying Article Processing Charges (APC) when open-access (OA) option is selected. The APCs costing thousands of dollars are waived for the journal package subscribers like us.
