Description

A sense of contempt is an attitude towards individuals, social groups, and ultimately ideologies that implies superiority, a sense of right to judge, accompanied by feelings of disgust and anger. It is generally believed that these emotions lead to maladaptive behavior.  The goal of constructive dialogue is to reform feeling of contempt with the ability to embrace others with compassion, courage and wisdom.
