July - Ice Cream Social

To celebrate National Ice Cream Month, the library hosted the summer ELP students and other students staying on campus Friday 7/15 2:30-3:30 p.m. on the patio outside the 24-Hour Room.

September - Banned Book Titles Read

This year we asked how many books from the last Banned Books list of the last 10 years did people read. How many have you read?

October - Halloween Interactive Poster & Chocolate Bar Raffle

We put the eternal Candy Corn question to a vote and the "Yums" came out ahead! We also held a Candy Gift Bag raffle where students had to either share their favorite scary movie title or send in a picture of their Halloween costume.

December - Finals Survival Kit Raffle

Students had a chance to win 1 of 3 bags with these delicious goodies and fun trinkets. To enter the raffle, students had to share their favorite thing about winter, make a meme about Finals Week, or briefly answer the question "If you could go anywhere in the world for Winter Break, where would you go?" All of the entries were fabulous - you can see them in our library newsletter (pg. 4-5).

January - MLK "I Have a Dream" Clouds

We asked our community to share what their dreams are.

February - Make a Valentine's Day Card

The SUA community made cards for their special people with markers, colored pencils, and stickers.

March - Dinner with Famous Women

We asked our community which woman or women would they want to have dinner with if they could.

April - Magnetic Poetry

Several poets shared their amazing poems using our Magnetic Poetry Kit on the easels outside the main library doors.

May - Finals Survival Kit
