Number of reference and research questions answered at the Reference Desk in 2014/15 academic year. Students asked 601 questions, faculty 75, and staff 46. In 2013/14, the library staff responded to 521 questions; 442 inquired by students, 58 by faculty, and 21 by staff.
All SUA students, faculty, and staff can take advantage of the library’s reference services, which include personalized research sessions. Reference questions can also be emailed directly to email@example.com. Questions asked by phone or email are answered in a timely manner.
Walk-in reference questions are welcomed and encouraged at the Ikeda Library. To walk-in with a reference question, approach the Reference Desk on the second floor of the library and ask the Reference Librarian on duty for assistance.
