Services for Faculty

  • Course Reserve (Physical & Online)
The library will place books/media items on physical reserve at the Circulation Desk. For book chapters/periodical articles, the request will be handled by the faculty assistants. The PDF version of the chapters or articles will be uploaded to Angel.
  • Interlibrary Loan (ILL)
Request books or journal articles that are not accessible from Ikeda Library.
  • Library Instruction
Your students will learn to do academic research for a particular class/assignment.
  • Purchase Request  Icon
To make a purchase request, please fill out the Purchase Request Form and send it to the Deans Office for approval. The professor who made the request will be notified when the purchasing decision is made. Note to Firefox users: The fillable PDF form is not compatible with Firefox. Please save the PDF form in your computer and use Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Using the curricula as the primary guide, the library seeks to collect and provide access to resources representing a balance of ideas useful to students attending SUA. To that end, the library recognizes the need for close collaboration and communication with the faculty. Suggestions from faculty are encouraged. Acquisition and withdrawal decisions are made by the library in accordance with the library policy.
