The Fowler GSIC inspires student entrepreneurs around the world to connect and create sustainable business solutions to global issues. Since 2011, this competition has distributed more than $500,000 to seed the most innovative and promising global ventures.

The UCI New Venture Competition offers Soka B2B students the opportunity to form a team with UCI students, launch a startup and potentially fund a business idea – all within seven months. Teams compete for $100,000 in cash prizes plus additional professional services!

UCI Collaboration Empowers B2B

Soka University hosts University Lab Partner’s MIRE STEM program to provide the next generation of STEM leaders the multidisciplinary skills needed to thrive in the biotech entrepreneurial world. Students will learn the four C's: critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity from working alongside OC's top leaders in innovation, medicine, science, and law. Additionally, students will learn adaptability, resilience, and problem solving through project-based coursework. University Lab Partners (ULP) and the CHOC Research Institute designed this curriculum and are committed to excellence in education and research. In some cases, Soka students can get independent study credit.
