Accessing Nexis Uni for Law Cases Research

Ikeda Library subscribes to the database Nexis Uni, which has a great deal of material on laws and regulations.

To access Nexis Uni, click on the "Databases" tab on Ikeda Library's home page, and choose "Databases A-Z" from the drop down menu.

On the "Databases" page, click on the "N" tab, and the link for the Nexis Uni database will be at the bottom of the page.

In Nexis Uni, there are a few different ways to search for resources.  On the first screen, you can choose "Cases" from the terms in the guided search box on the left, right under the main search box.

You can also click on the "Criminal Justice" box on the bottom of the page, which will take you to a page with a list of legal topics available.

Finally, if you click on the phrase "All Nexis Uni" on the right hand side of the search box, you'll be given a number of options for narrowing your search according to different law-related categories.

If you would like help using Nexis Uni, or any of the other resources available at Ikeda Library, visit the Circulation Desk or make an appointment for a research session.
